Being a sales manager is not an easy thing. That's why we've been focusing on it all month on the CFS blog and on the Let's Talk Sales Podcast.

In today's episode, I sat down with our CEO, Charles Bernard, and asked him the questions sent in by our audience about sales management. We had quite a few questions, and many who shared their struggles. And we focused on the following areas:

    • What makes a coach a coach and how can I help my sales team instead of nagging them?
  2. How can I best manage my time?
    • What should my day, week, month, and quarter look like?

    • When is the right time?
  4. How can sales managers keep their team motivated to sell?
    • And more specifically, what about when EVERYTHING is going wrong? How can they keep the team going—happy & selling—when things internally might be in shambles?
  5. How do I create alignment between sales and marketing?
    • What is my role as the sales manager and how can I keep the lines of communication open between departments?
